Account Settings lets you define default channel behavior for your entire Strimm network. Individual channels can inherit these defaults or override them with their own values in Channel Settings.
Open Account Settings from the Account Settings link in the studio sidebar (under SETTINGS).
Why use Account Settings?
If you manage many channels and want them all to behave consistently — the same player look, branding style, and embed options — set those defaults here once. Then, on each channel, enable Use Account-level channel settings to inherit them automatically. You can still override individual channels that need different settings.
Available defaults
All settings here mirror the options in Channel Settings and apply the same way:
- White-label channel — removes Strimm branding from the player across all inheriting channels.
- Keep TV guide open — opens the TV Guide panel by default for viewers.
- Custom branding — adds your branding (text or logo) to the player.
- Player controls — show or hide playback controls.
- Allow Private Videos — enables private/unlisted video support and HLS Live links.
- Hide "Guide" Button — removes the Guide button from the Standard player.
- Remove Scroll In The Guide — limits the guide to 10 channels, no scrollbar.
- Embed-Only Mode — restricts channels to embed playback only (not watchable on Strimm.com).
- Player Look — Standard or Full Page layout for all inheriting channels.
See Channel Settings for a full explanation of each option.
Time Format
Choose how times are displayed across your entire Strimm account — select 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour format.
Global Account Sync: Changing this preference in Account Settings immediately updates the time format across the entire account — including the TV guide, all embedded players, and connected apps.
Saving
Click Save to apply. Channels using Use Account-level channel settings will pick up changes immediately.
