Sublease a Channel lets you invite other Strimm users to collaborate on your channel with specific permissions. This is available on the Real Estate plan and above.
Open it from Sublease a Channel in the studio sidebar.
Inviting a contributor
- Enter the contributor's email address — they must already have a Strimm account registered with that email.
- Select the permissions you want to grant (see below).
- Click Send an Invite. The contributor receives an email with a secure confirmation link.
- Once they confirm, they appear in the Invited contributors table with their status shown as Confirmed.
Contributor permissions
You can mix and match any combination of the following:
| Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Can view channel | Read-only access to see the channel and its content |
| Can edit channel settings | Modify Channel Settings (branding, embed, player options) |
| Can view analytics | View the Analytics dashboard for this channel |
| Can edit videos | Add, remove, and organize videos in the library |
| Can edit HLS | Generate and manage HLS links |
| Can edit schedules | Add, change, and delete items on the TV Program Calendar |
| Can edit VAST | Configure VAST tag settings for ads |
Use Select all to grant every permission at once.
Managing existing contributors
The Invited contributors table shows each contributor's name, email, confirmation status, date invited, and current permissions. To remove a contributor or change their permissions, contact Strimm support or re-invite them with updated permissions.
What contributors see
Contributors access the shared channel through their own Strimm account. The channel appears in their studio with only the tools their permissions allow — they cannot access your other channels, billing, or account settings.
Plan requirement
Sublease requires the Real Estate plan ($199.99/mo) or higher. The Real Estate plan supports up to 100 subleased channels. See Plans and add-ons explained for details.
