Strimm MCP

Strimm hosts a remote Model Context Protocol server so Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok can manage your TV channels, videos, schedules, VAST ads, HLS output, white-label apps, and analytics. You sign in with your Strimm account in the browser. Agents never see your password.

Connection details

Paste the MCP URL into the connector settings of your agent. OAuth discovery is automatic.

Claude

  1. Open Claude.ai → Settings → Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connector and set the MCP server URL to https://newlook2.strimm.com/mcp.
  3. Complete Sign in with Strimm and allow the requested permissions.
  4. Ask Claude to list your channels or create a schedule. Tools run as your Strimm user.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors (or custom MCP / developer settings, depending on your plan).
  2. Add a custom connector. Use https://newlook2.strimm.com/mcp as the server URL.
  3. When prompted, sign in with Strimm and allow access.
  4. Enable the Strimm connector in a chat, then ask it to manage your channels.

Grok

  1. Open Grok connector / MCP settings.
  2. Add a remote MCP server with URL https://newlook2.strimm.com/mcp.
  3. Sign in with Strimm in the browser window and allow the scopes Grok requests.
  4. Return to Grok and confirm the Strimm tools are available.

Permissions

Shown on the consent screen. Plan limits still apply (for example HLS, VAST, analytics, and TV apps).

  • strimm.videos — library, provider import, and CDN/HLS import
  • strimm.schedule — create, publish, and edit program schedules
  • strimm.monetize — VAST ad settings
  • strimm.hls — HLS output links
  • strimm.apps — white-label TV and mobile apps
  • strimm.analytics — analytics reports

Disconnect an agent

Open Studio → Connected Agents and disconnect the client. Refresh tokens stop working immediately. You can reconnect later from Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok.
